The Role
We are looking for a motivated International Growth Strategy Intern (m/f/d) to join our fast-growing team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to play a direct role in expanding our global consultant network and strengthening Consultport’s presence within the international consulting ecosystem.
As part of our growth function, you will work closely with senior team members to identify top-tier freelance consultants worldwide, conduct outreach across global markets, and help build a pipeline that supports the consulting needs of our international clients.
This position is designed for individuals who want real responsibility, direct ownership, and the chance to contribute meaningful work in a dynamic, high-performance environment. You will be interacting with consultants from leading firms such as McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Accenture, Strategy&, and other major players—making it an invaluable experience for anyone intending to build a career in consulting, business development, people operations, or global growth.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will oversee and contribute to several critical activities that directly influence Consultport’s global expansion strategy:
1. Identify & Attract Top-Tier Consultants
You will research, source, and engage high-caliber freelance consultants across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and APAC. Through strategic outreach and engagement campaigns, you will ensure Consultport continuously attracts the best talent from leading consulting firms.
2. Conduct Screening Interviews
You will hold structured interviews with consultant candidates to evaluate their expertise, track record, communication skills, and cultural fit. Your assessments will determine whether they qualify to join our exclusive network.
3. Build & Manage Talent Pipelines
You will maintain an organized and proactive pipeline of independent consultants aligned with current and future client demands. This includes tracking progress, following up on candidates, and ensuring strong engagement through the onboarding process.
4. Develop Trust & Long-Term Relationships
Your role involves understanding consultants’ professional aspirations and positioning Consultport as their preferred platform. You will serve as a trusted partner, helping consultants navigate opportunities and match their strengths with high-impact projects.
5. Collaborate Across Teams
You will work closely with operations, sales, and account management teams to ensure the consultant acquisition strategy aligns effectively with incoming project needs and global market trends.

Your Profile
To succeed in this role, we are looking for:
- Graduates or soon-to-graduate students with strong academic backgrounds in business, economics, strategy, HR, communications, international relations, or related fields.
- A demonstrated interest in sales, consulting, recruiting, talent acquisition, or strategic growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to express ideas clearly, confidently, and professionally.
- Fluency in English—both written and verbal—is essential. Additional languages are a plus.
- A track record of being organized, structured, and detail-oriented.
- Previous experience working remotely or in a distributed team is highly desirable.
- A high level of motivation and a strong desire to learn fast in a dynamic environment.
