Global People and Culture Senior Manager – Global Fund for Children (Remote)


The Global Fund for Children (GFC) is currently seeking an experienced and values-driven professional to join its team as a Global People and Culture Senior Manager. This is a full-time, remote position, open to qualified candidates globally, with a competitive salary range of $85,000–$110,000 for U.S.-based candidates. Role Overview

The Global People and Culture Senior Manager will be responsible for leading and improving the organization’s people operations, systems, and support structures. This position sits at the intersection of strategy and implementation, ensuring that People and Culture policies align with Global Fund for Children’s mission, values, and global operating model.

Working closely with staff and managers across regions, the role provides both first-line operational support and strategic leadership, helping teams navigate people-related processes while fostering a strong, supportive organizational culture.


Key Responsibilities

People and Culture Operations & Systems Management

The Senior Manager will oversee the day-to-day management of people and culture systems, policies, and procedures. This includes ensuring systems are efficient, compliant, and responsive to the needs of a global workforce operating across different legal, cultural, and time-zone contexts.

Staff and Manager Support

A core component of the role involves serving as a trusted resource for employees and managers. The Senior Manager will provide guidance on performance management, employee relations, workplace concerns, and people-related best practices, ensuring consistency and fairness across the organization.

Implementation of People and Culture Initiatives

The role will lead the rollout of key people and culture initiatives, including talent development, onboarding improvements, performance frameworks, and employee engagement strategies. These initiatives are designed to strengthen organizational effectiveness while promoting equity, inclusion, and well-being.

Strengthening Global Infrastructure

The Senior Manager will contribute to building and refining Global Fund for Children’s people and culture infrastructure. This includes improving processes that support remote work, strengthening internal communications, and ensuring policies are adaptable to diverse regional contexts.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned People and Culture or Human Resources professional with experience supporting globally distributed teams.
