The Role: Global Head of Talent Acquisition
OPSWAT is seeking a Global Head of Talent Acquisition to lead, scale, and modernize its worldwide recruitment function in support of rapid growth and mission-critical objectives. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Human Resources, this senior leadership role will own the strategy, execution, tools, and outcomes of OPSWAT’s global hiring engine across all regions and functions.
The successful candidate will design and execute a globally consistent yet locally adaptable recruitment strategy, with a strong focus on technical, product, engineering, go-to-market (GTM), sales, and corporate roles. This role is instrumental in shaping how OPSWAT attracts world-class talent and builds high-performing teams across cybersecurity, engineering, and commercial functions.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning
- Partner closely with executive leaders, business units, and HR business partners to translate growth plans and headcount forecasts into actionable recruiting strategies
- Build a scalable recruiting capacity model aligned to business priorities, functions, and geographic needs
- Define recruiter headcount, productivity expectations, and performance KPIs such as time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and hiring manager satisfaction
- Lead and optimize GTM hiring strategies, including enterprise sales, product marketing, and customer success roles
- Collaborate with Finance and leadership teams on annual workforce planning, budgeting, and hiring forecasts
Global Recruiting Operations
- Lead and develop a globally distributed recruiting team across the U.S., Hungary, Romania, Vietnam, and other key talent markets
- Establish clear operational metrics and reporting in partnership with People Analytics to track performance, pipeline health, and outcomes
Executive, Technical & GTM Hiring
- Design tailored hiring strategies for highly specialized and senior roles, including cybersecurity experts, product leaders, and enterprise sales executives
- Support executive-level searches and influence senior stakeholders throughout the hiring lifecycle
Employer Brand & Candidate Experience
- Build and promote a compelling global employer brand aligned with OPSWAT’s mission, values, and employee value proposition
- Lead campus and early-career initiatives such as university partnerships, internships, tech talks, and recruitment events
- Ensure a consistent, inclusive, and high-quality candidate experience across all regions and roles
Technology, Tools & Process Optimization
- Own and optimize the talent acquisition technology stack, including ATS, CRM, and referral platforms
- Partner with HRIS and IT teams to evolve digital systems and recruiting workflows
- Leverage AI, automation, and data insights to improve sourcing efficiency, reduce time-to-hire, and increase recruiter productivity
- Implement scalable processes that balance global consistency with local flexibility
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
- Champion inclusive and equitable hiring practices across all regions and levels
- Develop outreach and sourcing strategies that strengthen diversity across engineering, GTM, and leadership pipelines
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, including at least 5 years in global leadership roles
- Proven success hiring for sales and GTM functions, alongside technical and corporate roles
- Experience building and scaling TA infrastructure in high-growth technology environments; cybersecurity experience is a strong advantage
- Demonstrated ability to lead distributed teams and implement efficient global recruiting operations
- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for metrics, performance insights, and AI-enabled recruiting
- Track record of influencing senior leaders and managing executive-level hiring
- Deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusive hiring practices
