Applications are now open for the prestigious Audi Environmental Foundation Scholarship 2026, offering outstanding young leaders from around the world a fully funded opportunity to attend the globally recognized One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa.
This life-changing programme is powered by the Audi Environmental Foundation in partnership with One Young World, with the aim of empowering the next generation of changemakers who are committed to addressing environmental challenges and driving sustainable development.
About the Programme
The Audi Environmental Foundation is dedicated to advancing innovative technologies, scientific research, and sustainable practices that contribute to a healthier and more liveable planet. Through this collaboration with One Young World, the foundation will sponsor 10 exceptional young leaders who have demonstrated strong commitment to environmental sustainability and impactful leadership.
Selected scholars will participate in the One Young World Summit 2026, scheduled to take place from November 3–6, 2026, in the vibrant city of Cape Town. The full programme runs from November 1–7, 2026, including arrival, pre-summit activities, and departure.
The summit brings together young leaders, global influencers, policymakers, and industry experts from across the world to discuss pressing global issues, share ideas, and develop solutions that can create lasting impact.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Audi Environmental Foundation Scholarship 2026, applicants must meet the following requirements:
1. Age Requirement
- Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old at the time of the summit
(Exceptional candidates slightly above 30 may still be considered based on experience and impact.)
2. Nationality
- Open to applicants from all countries worldwide
3. Availability
- Must be able to fully participate in person at the summit and all related activities in Cape Town from November 1–7, 2026
4. Leadership Potential
- Demonstrate strong leadership qualities and the ability to influence change within their community or field
5. Awareness of Global Issues
- Show a clear understanding of key local and/or global challenges, especially those related to environmental sustainability
6. Proven Impact
- Must have a track record of implementing innovative solutions that address environmental issues
- Evidence of measurable impact in sustainability, climate action, or environmental protection initiatives is highly required
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants selected as Audi Environmental Foundation Scholars will receive a comprehensive, fully funded package, including:
